With the fast development and the common use of internet, more and more hospitals have built up websites in order to provide people more convenient medical service. “Patient-centeredness” and “Patient safety”, which can not only improve health care quality and the relationship between the hospital and patients, but also contribute to the assurance of patient’s right, have become the key issues in hospital management. Website has become the essential tool for hospitals to provide the information of medical services. The purpose of this study is to figure out the deployment of websites around the teaching hospitals in Taiwan in point of patient-centeredness. The evaluation form used in this study is designed based on standards of hospital accreditation. The outcome is also used as reference and guidelines for building website in hospitals. |
