Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology used in Taiwan medical industry was started in SARS period in order to make track and control system for the records of contact with infectious patients. Now, RFID is wildly used in medical industry, and has great influence on healthcare work and process. Since RFID is a very novel technique, this research uses technology acceptance model (TAM) to experiment on “perceived usefulness”, “perceived easy-usage”, and “attitude toward using” to explore nurse acceptance in RFID. Based on 194 available questionnaires, we get following results. First, “perceived easy-usage” has direct and indirect effects on “attitude toward using”; “perceived usefulness” has only direct effect on “attitude toward using”. Second, “perceived easy-usage” shows indirect effect on “behavioral intention to use“; “perceived usefulness” shows both direct and indirect effects on “behavioral intention to use”. Third, “attitude toward using” is positively related to “behavioral intention to use”. |
