Yushan has become a popular route among mountaineers from all over the world. However, frequent accidents due to mountain climbing have raised serious concerns about the safety of mountaineers. This research analyzes a tourist satisfaction questionnaire regarding the usage of the Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) system. The results showed that the ease of usage can improve the safety of tourists and raise the satisfaction of tourists; and user satisfaction for the use of RFID was higher among older tourists. This may indicate a demand from those who would like to have more safety measures, such as senior mountaineers. External variables (privacy, electromagnetic waves, inconvenience and loss) are positively related to ease of use and usefulness perception. Results from the logistic regression analysis showed that if tourists are more satisfied with the RFID system, there is a higher probability that they will be willing to carry RFID tag next time. |
