運用治療性遊戲於感染腸病毒幼童的護理經驗

A Nursing Experience of Applying Therapeutic Play to a Toddler with Enterovirus Infection

本文係呈現一位初次感染腸病毒住院之幼童的護理經驗。於2013年2月10日至2013年2月15日藉Gordon11項健康功能評估，以觀察及身體檢查等方式進行整體性評估，個案主要護理問題包括急性疼痛、體溫過高以及照顧者角色緊張。護理過程中，運用個案熟悉的事物、安全的醫療用具等，設計符合發展之治療性遊戲，順利與個案建立信任關係；另提供主要照顧者照護資訊，關注於其所在意的問題，解決疑慮，進而增加在照護上的信心，協助個案出院。筆者希望藉此護理經驗提升自我能力，並期待做為日後照護類似病童之參酌。

This paper described the nursing experience of applying therapeutic play to a toddler with enterovirus infection. During the nursing period from February 10th to 15th, 2013, the researcher collected relevant data of the patient by means of observation, interview and direct caring experience. With the application of Gordon's 11 functional health patterns, the researcher assessed the data and identified three major health issues: acute pain, hyperthermia, and caregiver role strain. During the nursing process, a therapeutic play was designed in accordance to the patient's development, by using objects that the patient was familiar with and safe medical equipments. Through the play, the author successfully established a good rapport with the patient. Furthermore, the primary caregiver was provided with appropriate knowledge on the disease and its nursing techniques to address her concerns, thereby increasing the confidence and the ability of the primary caregiver, which led to the successful discharge of the patient. This nursing experience can serve as an reference when nursing toddler patient with similar disease.
