以男護生於婦產科病房實習反思護理的性別平等意識

A Reflection on Gender Equity for Male Nursing Students in Obstetrics and Gynecology Settings

近年性別平等意識已為世界性的重要議題，亦是教育部推廣的重要政策。過去以女性為主的護理行業不但已有男性加入，且人數逐年增加。如何於護理環境中真正落實性別平等意識，仍是需要持續推動與努力的目標。本文回顧台灣護理教育招收男性學生之歷史脈絡與執業現況，並探討性別刻板印象對護理的影響，最後整合文獻及男護生於婦產科病房實習之經驗反思男護生於婦產科病房實習之處境，並由護理教育及護理行政面向提出落實護理性別平等意識的相關建議。

In recent years, gender equity has become an important global issue. It is also a vital policy the Ministry of Education is promoting in Taiwan. The female-dominant nursing career has gradually changed, as male nurses have joined this field in increasing numbers. How to practically implement gender equity in clinical nursing settings has become a goal we thrive to achieve nowadays. This study first describes the historical background and current status of recruiting male nursing students in nursing schools, as well as the impact of gender stereotyping in nursing. Then, it reflects on male nursing students' situations in clinical obstetrics and gynecology settings, based on literature reviews and the author's own research experiences. The author lastly brings up some suggestions for this subject.
