一位腸病毒重症學齡前幼童的照護經驗

A Nursing Experience of Caring for a Pediatric Patient with Enteritis

本文乃是在呈現2008年6月15日至2008年6月18日期間於加護病房照護一位感染腸病毒併發重症幼童之護理經驗。照護者以觀察、會談、直接照護等方式對病童進行生理、心理和發展、家庭和社會等層面之評估，發現病童健康問題有組織灌流失效、疼痛、體溫過高及照顧者角色緊張等問題。筆者依據病童的病程發展提供各式加護護理，防止病情惡化；提供症狀護理，促進病童舒適；並藉由疾病相關資訊之提供與澄清，傾聽與同理，免除母親不必要的自責和愧疚感，協助病童一家人渡過重症危險期的護理經驗，期望此護理經驗能成為加護照護同業的幫助。

This article describes a nursing experience of caring for a pediatric patient with severe complications secondary to enteritis in the ICU. The nursing period was from June 15 to 18, 2008. Through observation, interview, and direct care, the author assessed the patient's physical, psychological, developmental, familial, and social needs. The identified problems include impaired tissue perfusion, pain, hyperthermia, and the caregiver's role tension. To prevent deterioration, the author provided intensive care in accordance with the disease progression and managed the patient's symptoms to increase comfort. The patient's mother received disease-related information, as well. The author listened with empathy and clarified the patient's mother's concerns to minimize her self-reproof and self-guilt. This nursing experience can be used as a reference for nurses caring for patients with the same diagnosis.
