Writing is a relatively difficult skill to master during the second language acquisition. The learners should not only keep in mind the words and grammars learned already, but also arrange contexts at a full text scale to ensure that it is smooth between each sentence, and to the text a whole one. Hence, how to cultivate the ability to arrange contexts in learners has become an increasing hot issue among the Chinese writing teaching staffs. This paper tried to deal with this through cohesive ways. On the basis of classifying Chinese text cohesive ways, we studied the students' performances of different Chinese language levels in the aspect of text arrangement, comparing the differences between the cohesive ways used by the foreign students and native Chinese, in order to bring forth key cohesive teaching points of different stages. |
