Although researches have pointed out that leader-member exchange (LMX) can enhance members' organizational citizenship behavior (OCB), only handful researches examine the underlying mechanism. We used social exchange theory to explore the relationship between LMX and OCB in the study. Moreover, we proposed this relationship might be mediated by supervisor trust. Hypotheses were tested with a sample of 438 team members from 100 teams. The results showed that supervisor trust partially mediate the relationship between LMX and OCB. Based on results, academic and practical implications were also discussed in the study. |
