Zhu Xi is the most representative figure of the Han study in "Shi Jing". The "Shi Ji Zhuan" has been praised as the third milestone of the "Shi Jing" studies, after the "Mao Shi Zhuan Jian" and the "Mao Shi Zheng" Yi. Zhu Xi wrote the specialized works of the "Shi Xu Bian Shuo" and the "Shi Ji Zhuan". Although scholars are familiar with the two books, to have deeper recognition in the studies of Zhu Xi, there are surrounding literatures that we must have deep knowledge in. In this way, it can assist us to comprehend Zhu Xi's "Shi Jing" studies wholly and completely. "Shi Tong Zi Wen", written by Fu Guang, and "Shi Zhuan Yi Shuo", written by Zhu Jian, are exactly surrounding literatures related to the studies of Zhu Xi. This paper studies the compiling works of the studies of Zhu Xi by Fu Guang and Zhu Jian. Apart from comparing the stylistic rules and layouts of the "Shi Tong Zi Wen" and "Shi Zhuan Yi Shuo", this paper focuses on analyzing the important contents of these two works; also, it compares Fu Guang and Zhu Jian's contribution to the compiling works of Zhu Xi's "Shi Jing" studies. Through this paper, we can see that the knowledge value of the "Shi Tong Zi Wen" is in its sorting and elucidating Zhu Xi's "Shi Jing" studies. The value of the "Shi Zhuan Yi Shuo" on the other hand, is in its documental maintenances. |
