英文摘要 |
The purpose of this study was to explore the influence of anglers' sensation seeking and risk perception on their fishing site choice. The study was conducted at the first branch of Long-Don, and three spots on the site were identified based on the risk of the physical settings. Anglers' sensation seeking and risk perception were surveyed. The results indicated that anglers from these three spots were significantly different to each other in their "thrill and adventure seeking" and risk perceptions. To reduce coastal fishing accidents, it was suggested that resource managers should enhance anglers' risk perception of those dangerous fishing spots, and encourage anglers with high thrill and adventure seeking to substitute coastal fishing with other adventure recreation activities. |
