The Implications of Internet of Things for Taiwan Insurance Industry

本文介紹物聯網與保險業的關連性，除了闡述物聯網在產險業與壽險業之相關應用外，物聯網與大數據的關連也是我們要探討的另一個主題。本文也試著提出物聯網對臺灣保險業的可行建言，期盼本文所述的發展願景，可以提供臺灣保險產業未來發展之參考。

The purpose of this study is to examine the relationship between the Internet of Things (IoT) and insurance industry. In addition to describe the applications of IoT on property/liability and life insurance companies, we also investigate the connection between IoT and big data. In this paper, we will focus on the IoT applications and propose feasible applications for the Taiwan insurance industry that can be adopted in the near future.
