哈伯瑪斯的知識論在成人教育上的意義

Jurgen Habermas’Epistemology and Its Implications on Adult Education

本文旨在透過哈伯瑪斯的知識論分析，以詮釋其知識論在成人教育目的、成人教育內涵、方法及評鑑上的蘊義。為達此目的，首先分析哈伯瑪斯對德國觀念論、早期實證論的批判，再次剖析哈伯瑪斯知識論內涵，最後詮釋其知識論在成人教育上的蘊義。結果發現，成人教育目的在於啟發成人具有批判社會文化能力，其內涵在於培育溝通能力，所使用的方法是溝通、論辯、啟蒙行動，在評鑑上則著重溝通程序是否實踐的檢視，使成人教育成為促進社會文化合理性發展的主耍方法。

This study attempts to analysize the Epistemology of Jurgen Habermas with a view to interpreting its implications on adult education. First of all Habermas’critique of German idealism and early positivism is presented. Secondly the Epistemology of Jurgen Habermas is expounded. Conclusively its implications in the practice and theory in adult education is interpreted. It is recommended that the purpose, contents, methods and materials, evaluation of adult education should be reevaluated in the light of Habermas’ Epistemology in order to avoid ideologizing and instrumentalizing our adult education research and practice.
