某醫學中心護理人員對資料庫使用之評價性研究

An Evaluation ofDatabase Usage ofNurses in a Medical Center

如何在最短的時間內獲得最新的知識已成為護理人員面臨的一大挑戰。本研究於2002年10月在中部某醫學中心以自擬的結構式問卷探討護理人員對資料庫認識、操作信心及使用程度、網路的可近性、使用資料庫情境及其相關因素，問卷採專家內容效度及內在一致性Cronbach’s係數分別為：0.77、0.81及0.71。共1300位護理人員進行問卷調查，回收率80%。資料以SPSS/PCforwindowlO.O進行分析描述性及多變數一般線性模式分析。結果顯示：（1）對資料庫的認識、使用信心及使用程度中，皆以中文資料庫的中華民國期刊論文索引及全國博碩士論文摘要檢索系統得分最高；（2）對資料庫的使用程度中CochraneLibrary，CINHAL及Pub-Med得分最低；（3）機構內提供護理人員有關進階資料庫（英文）搜尋的教育訓練、大學畢業的護理長及不同職級的護理人員對不管是在認識資料庫、操作資料庫或使用資料庫等方面有相關；（4）是否上過中文資料庫的課程，卻不影響認識資料庫、操作資料庫、使用資料庫等方面的得分。目前台灣有多家醫院須作實證護理推廣計劃，但無書面發表機構推動之經驗報告，期待此研究結果能做為未來其他機構進行護理人員，椎行實證相關教育訓練計劃之參考依據。Nurses face a big challenge in acquiring updated knowledge. This research was done at a tertiary medical center in central Taiwan during October 2002. A structured questionnaire was designed and administered to obtain information, including demographic data, nurses' knowledge and usage of the database, conditions of database use, and confidence of practice. Expert validity was taken into account. The internal reliability of Cronbach’s values were 0.77, 0.81 and 0. 71. The total number of participants was 1300 nurses, each given a questionnaire to complete with a return rate of 80%. Data were analyzed by SPSS/PC for windows 10.0 with descriptive data and a multiple variance linear model. The results showed that: (1). Regardless of nurses’ knowledge of the database, confidence of practice, or usage of the database, the databases receiving the highest scores were always the Index to Chinese Periodical Literature and the Dissertation and Thesis Abstract System. (2). “The Cochran Library, CINHAL and Pub-Med. received the lowest usage scores. (3). ”Basic database training programs did not affect the scores regarding knowledge of the database, confidence of practice or the usage of the database. The advanced database programs did affect the scores. (4). The educational degree of the head nurse and the ability level of the nurses affected the usage of the database.This study can be a reference when evidence-based nursing educational programs involving database searching are promoted.
