精神科急性病房住院患者財務歸還之改善方案

An Improvement Project of Returning Inpatients' Possessions in the Acute Psychiatric Wards

本專案目的在提昇精神科急性病房住院患者財物歸還完整率。自2001年1月至3月查核發現：住院患者累存財物150人中，完整歸還人數為114人，財物歸還完整率為76%，主因為護理人員遺忘，病房保管的危險物品、貴重物品細項規定不清楚，轉床作業不完整，安檢物品未登記，患者財物存放多處、空間狹窄等，造成存放空間不足外，需耗費人力聯繫家屬前來取物及造成家屬不便，形成管理的缺失影響服務品質。經由2001年4月至12月實施專案，制定標準作業流程、修改住院患者危險物品、貴重物品保管原則、加強護理人員教育訓練、推行『5S』運動，改善患者財物存放環境等措施後，住院患者財物歸還完整率由76%提昇至92.9%。The goal of this project is to improve the whole returning rate of inpatients’ properties in the Acute Psychiatric Wards. From January, 2001 to March, 2001, among the 150 inpatients, only 114 patients received their whole returnings. The percentage was around 76%, mainly because of the forgetfulness of the nurses, indefinite managing rules of valuables, incomplete process of transferring beds, unregistered security check objects, and inpatients’ properties left everywhere in the narrow space, occupying our ward. We had to contact with patients again and again, wasting lots of staffs’ precious time, money, and further reducing our quality of services. Through this project from January to December 2001, we set up the standard protocol and reformed the regulation of inpatients properties and trained the nurses. In the meantime, we pushed forwards the “ 5 S” and the whole returning rate rised up from 76% to 92.9%.
