本研究以台東師範為例,重構五○年代臺灣師範生的學校生活經驗。主要目的在 於從當時學生的觀點,深入探究師範生就讀師範學校前,與就讀師範學校時期生活經 驗的內涵,並探究師範生對其生活經驗認知的人生意義。基於上述目的,探討三個問 題:1.就讀師範學校前的生活經驗為何?2.就讀師範學校時的生活經驗為何?3.師範 學校生活經驗對人生的意義為何? 研究方法主要是「歷史研究」與「敘事探究」並用,研究範圍以1949 年至1952 年間的台東師範學校為例,對台東師範學校第二屆的十九位校友進行敘事訪談,並與 若干官方記錄與統計資料以及前人對於1950 年代臺灣師範教育的相關研究結果做比 對。研究結果針對下列三點:1.就讀師範前的學校生活經驗;2.就讀師範學校時的學 校生活經驗;3.師範學校生活經驗對人生的意義,分別加以說明。最後結論部分,研 究者就上述發現提出個人對教育的省思。
英文摘要
This study cites Teachers Normal School as an example to reconstruct the school life experiences of normal school students in Taiwan in the 1950s. The main purpose of this study is to explore the meaning of life experiences of students before they went to normal school and during their study in normal school from the perspective of students, as well as to probe into the life meaning of normal school students’ perception of life experiences. Based on the purpose mentioned above, this study discussed 3 questions: (1) What are the life experiences of normal school students before they went to normal school? (2) What are the life experiences of normal school students during their study in normal school? (3) What is the meaning of life experiences in normal schools to life? This study used “historical research” and “narrative inquiry” as the research methods, and the research scope is Taitung Normal School from 1949 to 1952. This study used narrative inquiry to interview 19 alumni of the second graduation class, and compared several official records and statistical data and research results of relevant previous studies on Taiwan normal education in the 1950s. The major research findings of the present study were described and went into the three aspects as follows: (1) Life experiences of normal school students before they went to the normal school; (2) School life experiences during their study in normal school; (3) Meaning of life experiences of normal school to life. In terms of conclusion, the researcher proposed personal reflections on education based on the findings mentioned above.
