Working With Sex Offenders: A 21-Year Journey

本文回顧21年來筆者參與性侵害加害者工作的歷程，從早期在國外接受性侵害加害者治療訓練的震撼談起，而後描述回台展開受害者治療與研究及校園反暴工作的種種，進而討論在推動建構性加害者強制診療體制上，以及落實治療流程、治療內涵所衍生的問題與困境。

This paper looks in retrospect at how the author became involved in the training program for treating sex offenders 21years ago, and how it later led her to become the pioneer of the “prevention of sex abuse” movement in Taiwan. This paper talks about the process and the struggles of the author when participating in establishing the mandatory treatment program for sex offenders in Taiwan. The subsequent problems and pitfalls of the mandatory treatment system encountered by the Taiwan government are also discussed.
