| 英文摘要 |
International communication in the field of acupuncture is still impaired by language barriers. Original Chinese or Japanese acupuncture sources and publications are accessible to few Western readers. A new system of computer numbers presented in this paper is independent of the respective language. The system provides a reliable basis for international communication concerning acupuncture points used in clinical practice as well as an unmistakable documentation of points in files, software programmes and publications of all kinds. The system covers 990 commonly used acupuncture points and is a key to comprehensive information about each point accumulated in a German and English software programme. |
