A Review and Analysis of a Cesarean Birth

剖腹產有助於挽救母親及胎兒的生命，但也容易發生出血、感染、腹部或骨盆臟器的損傷。台灣剖腹產率一直居高不下且逐年上升，這是政府部門與醫療人士所關切及努力的重心。關於剖腹產的起源、發展、影響因素及因應對策等面向的研究，目前已累積相當豐富的成果。本文旨在文獻回顧、整理及報告，提供護理人員於產科實務中的參考依據，並讓婦女得到專業及持續諮詢的服務，使其經驗一個安全、正向、及滿意的生產過程。

A cesarean birth is a life-saving intervention for the mother and fetus. It is a major surgical procedure with potential adverse effects, including bleeding, infection, and damage to surrounding organs. In Taiwan, the cesarean birth rate is increasing, which is of major concern for Taiwan’s government and health care providers. A great number of studies have been conducted on this issue, especially of (1) the history and development of cesarean section, (2) contributing factors to the increasing prevalence rate, and (3) the strategies for managing this phenomenon, etc. The aim of this report is to review the literature pertaining to cesarean-related topics. It is hoped that this report can offer useful information to midwives in planning for and evaluating women’s care. Midwives can help women to achieve a safe, comfortable, and satisfying birthing experience.
