目錄與檢索表都是查閱資料的工具。本文回顧1899年至1999年「臺灣醫學會」對其發行的刊物《臺灣醫學會雜誌》及其前身《臺灣醫事雜誌》，作過6次(1912、1923、1933、1976、1987、2002)目錄的內容，最後介紹2007年9月完成《百年臺灣醫學史(1899~1999)》資料庫的內容。

The periodical index can be an extremely valuable research tool. This paper discusses the contents of the six indices compiled by the Journal of the Formosan Medical Association and its forerunner Die Medicinsche Monatsschrift in Taiwan (publication of which began in 1899) dating from 1912, 1923, 1933, 1976, 1987, and 2002, along with the contents of the One Hundred Years of Medical History in Taiwan (1899-1999) database.
