The paper aims to present a nursing experience of caring a 28 years old female who suffered Serious Ovarian Hyperstimulation Syndrome supervene pleural effusion. During her hospitalization, observation, intervention and physical assessment methods are applied in terms of Gordon’s functional health patterms to collect the sujective and objective data. The result of nursing problems were (1) sleep pattern disturbance, (2) knowledge deficiency, (3) fluid volume excess, (4) breathing pattern ineffective, (5) low self-esteem situation. Aimingat this case,providing the individual and specific nursing care plans and that can be promoted the illness cognition and self-care. According concrete and individual nursing activity that giving support and encourage, promote the caring, help the case alleviate the physiology problem during care the period and greet lately living. Therefore this nursing care experience can be provided as a reference in clinical practice. |
