This article aims to analyze related models of wisdom development and to propose a new model of wisdom development. This model incorporates related factors and the process of wisdom development. It overcomes the limitations of previous models, including an overemphasis on the cognitive dimension, a lack of empirical evidence, and the inability to incorporate related factors as well as the process of wisdom development. We used global warming education as an example to provide practical suggestions for the application of this model. The article concludes with the limitations of the model and implications for future research. |
