慢性C型肝炎患者接受干擾素合併Ribavirin治療的決策過程

The Decision-making Process of Receiving Interferon Plus Ribavirin Therapy for Patients with Chronic Hepatitis C

本研究目的在探討慢性C型肝炎患者接受干擾素合併ribavirin治療的決策過程，以現象學的研究法自中部某醫學中心訪談十位接受干擾素合併ribavirin治療的慢性C型肝炎患者，以半結構且深入的方式進行訪談，所有訪談內容均予以錄音並轉換成文字。以Giorgi的現象學方法分析所收集的資料，研究結果歸納出三個主要概念會影響其決策過程，包括：(1)治療的動機，(2)資訊的探索，(3)猶豫與決定。藉此深入了解這些個案的治療決策經驗，可做為護理人員設計合適的諮詢內容與衛教方案。

The purpose of this study was to explore the decision-making process of receiving interferon plus ribavirin therapy for patients with chronic hepatitis C. Ten patients were interviewed by an open-ended, semi-structured, and non-guided questionnaire. The contents of the interview were audio-taped and transcribed. Data were analyzed using Giorgi’s phenomenological method. Results were organized into the following three categories: (1) The motivation of treatment, (2) Information seeking process, (3) Hesitation and decision-making. Understanding of the experiences of these patients enables nurses to design appropriate counseling and education programs to meet their needs.
