The article describes the intensive nursing experience in caring a patient who had acute myocardial infarction complicated with cardiogenic shock and induced multiple hemodynamic symptoms. During July 31 to August 21,2003, the researcher applied observation. interviewing and Gorden 11functional health status assessment instrument skills to collect patient’s data. Nursing problems were identified as the following: deficient fluid volume, hyperthermia, and anxitey, etc. The author applied a comprehensive nursing care, professional knowledge, and spiritual support to improve the knowledge of the patient and his family and alleviate their anxiety level. |
