照顧一位學齡前期兒童患Guillain-Barre' 症候群之護理經驗

Nursing Experience of Caring for a Preschooler Suffering from Guillain-Barre' Syndrome

本篇個案報告探討一位學齡前期兒童患Guillain-Barre'症候群的護理經過。筆者利用觀察與會談，以Gordon十一項功能健康型態，評估其生理及心理的需要，將所得資料加以整理分析。結果顯示個案主要的護理診斷為1.呼吸道清除功能失效2.身體活動功能障礙3.營養狀況改變4.言語溝通障礙5.恐懼。筆者以1.促進個案排痰維持呼吸道通暢2.漸進式運動協助個案的活動功能3.按個案的需要維持足夠的營養4.利用圖卡及簡單字彙來增進與個案之溝通5.運用遊戲、說故事來減低個案住院治療之恐懼。筆者以愛心及同理心與個案建立良好的護病關係，引導個案表達心中之感受，使個案由冷漠轉為積極的參與身體活動計劃，而使病情得到改善。

This case study reported the nursing experience of caring for a preschooler suffering from Guillain-Barre' syndrome. We used both observation and interviewing to assess the physical and psychological needs of the patient. The results of nursing diagnosis were ineffective airway clearance, impaired physical mobility, altered nutrition, impaired verbal communication, and feared. The nursing strategies included keeping airways clear, assisting case in mobilizing, maintenance of adequate nutrition, communication with case by utilizing picture cards and simple vocabulary, and application of games and stories to reduce fears. Through the construction of fine nurse-patient relationship, the patient showed improvement after eagerly participating body mobilization plan and being able to express himself verbally.
