Based on clinical experiences and a literature review, the purpose of this study was to describe the historical background, advantages and disadvantages of breast reconstruction after mastectomy and the preoperative, postoperative, and home care of women who have breast reconstruction. Findings provide specific information that nurses in clinical settings can apply when caring for women having breast reconstruction. |
