In Showa 6 (1931), the Japanese government held a series of activities from May 1 to May 5 in order to celebrate the completion of TAKAO SHU Government Building, the joint meeting of all of the enterprises on Taiwan Island, and the opening of TAKAO Marine Observatory, and to present its various accomplishments in economic reconstruction in TAKAO SHU. This study covers all the subjects of the activities held in this exhibition, especially the designs for visual communication. Hopefully this study will be helpful for the study of the history of Taiwan and the early history of designs in Taiwan. |
