提昇子宮頸抹片篩檢探討－－以某區域醫院為例

AN EVALUATION OF PAP SMEAR SCREENING FOR CERVICAL CANCER-An EXPERIENCE IN A REGIONAL HOSPITAL

本研究以某區域醫院參與子宮頸抹片檢查之婦女為對象，探討婦女參與子宮頸抹片檢查篩檢之成效是否提昇，進而建構抹片篩檢結果分析之模式。本研究採次級資料分析，搜集子宮頸抹片檢查篩檢改善前2006年7月至2006年12月與子宮頸抹片檢查篩檢改善後2007年1月至2007年6月接受子宮頸抹片檢查之婦女，資料檔共計2,763人。結果發現子宮頸抹片篩檢率，由8.62%提昇至10.11% （p<0,05） ，件數成長率則為27.03%，而醫療團隊的介入能有效強化民眾是否願意接受預防醫學的意願，司提供各醫院推動各項疾病預防之先趨。

Women who participated in Pap smear screening in a regional hospital were studied to explore improvement of the screening efficiency and for the future construction of a Pap smear analysis model. In this study, secondary data analysis was employed on analyzing pap smear data collected both before the establishment (July 2006-Dec. 2006) and after (Jan.2007-June 2007) ,with 2763 samples in total. It was found that the screening efficiency improved from 8.62% to 10.11 %(p<0.05),with a case growth of 27.03%. The participation of the medical staff can boost the willingness of the public to learn more about preventative medicine.
