This paper is to discuss the execution of participative management in the workplace in Taiwan, which includes suggestion scheme and quality control circle. It also explores the dominants of organizational structure that influence management models corporations select. According to Logistic Regression Analysis, the study finds that the possibility corporations adopt suggestion scheme is higher in those featured with larger employee population, Japanese-invested enterprises, unions, highly skilled labors, employees with lower average age and manufacturers. As to promoting Quality Control Circle system, the elements of employee's age, skill maturity, unions establishment, and capital have no need to be specially considered, since these features do not show any significant impact on the Quality Control Circle system. However, for those corporations that are small in scale, belong to service industry or have not publicly issued stocks, the possibility to enforce Quality Control Circle system is relatively low. |
