Career strategy is one of the main tools for employees to facilitate promotion and salary increasing. Hence, it can help reach individual career goals. Both employees and employers should pay close attention to contents and factors of career strategy in order to build up career management model which is of mutual benefit. This research attempts to study career strategces used by labors worked in petrochemical industry and to compare each construct among labors of upstream, middle and downstream section. The comparison among labors in three sections showed that each group of workers has unique preference for adoption of career strategy. Personal traits and situational factors also have moderate influencing power. |
