籤詩故事的重要性－－與榮格的釋夢方法比較

Compare and Contrast: the Significance of Stories in Lottery Poetry and the Dream Interpretation of Carl Jung

生活上遇到困難，就到廟宇抽籤，是我國民間傳統習俗。籤詩主要是以四句籤詩為主，籤詩故事所佔的地位並不顯眼，但是研究者記錄解籤者的解說，卻發現籤詩故事是籤詩中的重點，並未能明言重要性何來。籤詩的研究主要在於基本資料的建立，即各籤詩的解釋，以提供學者研究的基礎。本篇試圖探討籤詩故事背後的原則及概念。首先說明籤詩故事的解籤原則，並和西方榮格學派的解夢學來作比較，發現它們之間的相似處。夢和籤詩都被認為是神明的指示，它們來自同一種源頭—人類的心靈。而人類的心靈語言可以說近乎以圖象存在，也就是意象，若能解讀意象，等於可以了解人類的心靈。榮格派的釋夢以自由聯想、放大解釋，將夢的情境放大，以找到能與現實符合的相關處，使用隱喻象徵的手法來進行解釋，我們就可以從夢或故事的情節進行分析，進而了解當事人的心靈所要傳達的訊息，或是了解籤詩中神明對求籤者的垂示。未來，籤詩的研究仍有更大的空間，而意象的解讀及隱喻象徵是可以注意的部分。

In Taiwan, it is a custom for people to draw divination lots at local temples while they encounter obstacles in lives. Lottery poetry mainly consists of four sentences, but the story of lottery poetry tends to be neglected. However, according to the records of the explanations of lottery poetry, researchers found that the story in lottery poetry is the point although they could not explain why. However, the research of lottery poetry was based upon the explanations of lottery poetry. This paper intends to investigate the principle and idea in the story of the poetry. At the beginning, the story and rule of lottery poetry would be depicted, and then comparing lottery poetry to Jungian interpretation of dreams, I figured out several similarities between them. Moreover, both dreams and lottery poetry were considered as indication from gods; actually, they could be traced back to the minds of human beings. There the language of mind was almost presented in images; interpreting the images well means to comprehend what is in man’s mind. Jung applied 'Free Association' and 'Amplification' to the interpretation of dreams; Jung’s followers amplified the situation of a dream so that they could find the association between the dream and reality. We can also understand someone’s message from his or her mind by analyzing a dream or the plot of a lottery story and interpreting metaphorical symbols in them. Besides, we can understand the lottery poetry’s implication from gods. However, the research of lottery poetry has not been completed, and in the future the interpretation of images and metaphorical symbols needs more investigation.
