筏灣村排灣族的豐收祭

MASALUT: AN ANNUAL SYNTHETIC CULT OF THE PAIWAN AT SU－PAIWAN VILLAGE

豐收祭一詞，是筆者對該村居民所行的masalut 祭祀的漢譯。每年小米收穫完畢後，該村居民要舉行一連串的祭祀活動，祭祀的目的在祈求、感謝農作物的豐收，祈求平安與增加財富。

Masalut is a series of ceremonies after the annual millet－harvest，performed by individual families of the Paiwan people at Su－paiwan Village. Some Japanese sour－ces describe the masalut as being performed b groups based on political and econo－mical relations，a group priest offciating.
