THE SUPERNATURAL CONCEPTS AND RITUAL BEHAVIORS OF THE NAN－AO ATAYAL

本文之敘以南澳鄉金洋村之材料為主。金洋村為現行南澳鄉七村仍留原居地的村落，亦為南澳群泰雅人原有十三個部落稚一未經遷播混住的部落。南澳鄉的其他六村為南澳、碧候、武塔、金岳、東岳和澳花，都是原有十幾個部落經數度遷移、混居而組成的。

This paper deals with the the supernatural beliefs and associated practices of the Nan－ao Atayal of Taiwan.The Nan－ao Atayal，a local group of the Atayal tribe ，inhabit the southeastern part of the Iian prefecture with population around four thousand.
