MUSICAL INSTRUMENTS OF THE AMEI TRIBE

阿美族分佈旖臺灣中央山脈以東的臺東縱谷，及海岸山脈以東沿太平洋的海岸平原上。北起自花蓮附近之奇萊平原，南達臺東以南的大麻里，且遠及恒春半島。約在北緯二十四度以南至二十二度之間。大部份居於平地，只有很少數住在山谷中。

The distribution of the aboriginal Ami Tribes of Taiwan starts from the Chi－Lai Plain of Hualien in the north and extends to Hengchun Peninsula in the south，covering the Valley on the east side of the Central Range and the Coastal Plain east of the Coast Range，all within the region between south of 24 N.
