THE STRUCTURE OF THE IFUGAO RELIGION

一個民族的宗教是一個”信仰”（belief）與”實踐”（practice）的完整體系。這一信仰與實踐的體系與該一社會的生存以及其”中心價值”（central values）乃是息息相關的，因為宗教幫助解決許多非經驗和非科學的社會與心理的問題，同時並表現、解釋、鞏固該一社會的價值觀念。

Religion is one of the great driving forces in human activity both individually and socially. A system of religious belief and practice may be a strong positive element in social organization. Religious rituals group the members of the society in common assembly，and members of the society in common assembly，and so reaffirm their solidarity and enforce socia interaction.
