基於PTZ攝影機之即時3D影像監控系統

Video Surveillance System for 3D Objects/Spaces/Areas Covering by PTZ Cameras

影像監控系統是常見於環境的監視應用，如：公司、廠房、校園及辦公室的監控等，尤其針對重要出入口、貴重器材、機具、材料及人員的出入管控等。然而，目前影像監控系統所達到的覆蓋效果，多半只針對2D平面的涵蓋，至於3D物體、空間或區域者，其具可視角度限制及遠近等解析度條件，並沒有一個較精確的覆蓋方式。因此，我們希望設計一套適用於3D環境的影像監視象統，此系統會利用具水平、垂直及變焦之攝影裝置（Pan-Tilt-Zoom Camera），提供即時的物體、空間、區域等監控，尤其針對突發性事件如：辦公室／工廠／校園火災、員工／學童異常聚集、械鬥或陌生訪客未經授權侵入等，提供即時攝影機的調派及影像顯示。透過系統評測結果，其說明我們開發的影像監控系統能在有效時間內完成物體、空間、區域的監視，同時達成較高的覆蓋率。

Video surveillance systems are commonly used on environment monitoring, such as factory, school, and office, especially for the entrance, precious machine, material and staff going in/out. However, the achieved coverage of most existing surveillance systems is only for 2D environment; the object/space/area in 3D environment with the properties of viewing angle and resolution are not precisely considered. Therefore, we design a video surveillance system for 3D object/ space/area, which makes use of the cameras with pan, tilt, and zoom capabilities (PTZ cameras) to provide real-time covering, especially for unexpected events happen such as fire accident, staff fights, or unauthorized visitors to the critical regions. Simulation results show that the proposed video surveillance system can effectively monitor the target object, space, area with high coverage ratio.
