Session High-Availability and Load Balancing in Virtual Application Delivery System

虛擬桌面基礎架構（Virtual Desktop Infrastructure，VDI）是目前雲端運算主要應用之一，資策會的產品PC^2（Personal Cloud Computer）是VDI的實作，提供跨平台遠端桌面服務，使用Session作為連線的方式，我們提出一個架構可以在此產品上建立出一個中央管理閘（Session Manager Gateway），並由此中央管理閘提供集中式管理架構，以達到服務的高可用性，並透過與伺服器的資料庫連線取得伺服器負載資料達到負載平衡功能。

Virtual Desktop Infrastructure, VDI, is the main stream in the cloud computing appliance. PC² (Personal Cloud Computer) is an implementation of VDI serving cross platform remote desktop service. Using session as the connection method, the PC² service is constructed under the architecture of Session Manager Gateway. The system supports centralized management structure in able to achieve high-availability service. It also supports load balance by accessing the database to retrieve the servers' status.
