Simulation teaching is developed to similar situations of the clinical practice, to provide learners repeated practice skills and clinical assessment, or meet a critical, severe condition to make an effective decision making, appropriate intervention or technical performance. For problem solving ability, critical thinking and clinical decision- making ability of the learner can effectively increase the assessment skills of the health problems and the management ability of the disease will be more efficient. This article describes history and development the simulation in teaching strategies and delineate the context and steps of simulation teaching, to provide an innovative teaching strategy to the health care educators who will have different thinking and perspective. |
