From Beginning to Burgeoning: Taiwan History Studies in Korea, 1945-2012

本文針對1945－2012年為止，韓國的臺灣史研究成果進行整理及介紹，且對韓國的臺灣史研究在整體臺灣史研究中具有何種意義進行檢討。本文將重心放在韓國臺灣史研究的「內涵」上，即針對研究的具體內容、特徵及學術意義等方面來開展論述。此外，也以上述韓國臺灣史研究的過去與現在為基礎，簡述韓國臺灣史研究未來的發展方向。

This paper reviews the development and the fruits of Taiwan history studies in Korea from 1945 to 2012, as well as the contribution of such studies to the overall research in Taiwan history. Special emphasis is put on the historical contexts and academic significance of these studies. Moreover, according to the review, this paper explores future directions for Taiwan history studies in Korea.
