Enron (Enron) is a U.S. major energy company. In December 2001, the company filed for bankruptcy protection, becoming the largest bankruptcy in U.S. history. One of the protagonists in this company scandal, the former Enron chairman Kenneth Reinhold, of heart attack died 64 years old in Colorado, left 21,000 employees unemployed and debt as much as 31 billion U.S. dollars. The case of Enron collapse has also reminded that serious problem derived from the sudden death of executive director. This study will explore the problem of inheritance from the viewpoint of corporate governance. |
