本文探討通識文學教育中學生核心能力培育的相關問題,並以文學經典課程為例,作為探討的對象。在通識教育理念的觀照下,先介紹交通大學的文學經典課程規劃與經典閱讀推動的具體作法,並指出文學名著閱讀的核心在學生智慧培育與人文關懷的形塑。文中也以作者本人「小說閱讀」的課程設計為例,探討通識文學教育的實踐,以及學生核心能力培育的應有內涵。討論如何啟發誘導思辨批判能力與問題意識,及培養學生寫作之興趣,提高其文學賞析與創作的技巧,從而使學生能適切運用語文,從容表達,增進學生的語文能力。在具體的討論後,本文最後整體性總結通識文學教育學生核心能力培育的問題,做出省思與檢討。
英文摘要
This essay takes classic literature courses for instance, discussing the cultivation of students' core abilities through general literature education. The essay expounds the notions of general education, introduces the scheme and the concrete practice of classic literature courses in NCTU (National Chiao Tung University). The practice is making students to read these classic literature works, and its main importance is to cultivate students' wisdom and humane concern. Based on her own course plan of the novel reading class, the author mainly discusses the practice of general literature education as well as the significance of students ability cultivating. Discussions including the way to trigger students' abilities to question and criticize, to improve students' analysis and bring up their interests in writing or even their creativity. With these done students can improve their language and literature ability and can express themselves in a better way. In the final this essay talks about the introspection and review of doing this.
