Introduction about the Social Model of Disability

本文旨在探討障礙的社會模式。首論社會模式發展背景，其次說明社會模式主要主張、受到批判之處以及晚近修正觀點，並提出對特殊教育的啟示。

The purpose of this article is to introduce the social model of disability. First， I concentrate on identifying the background of this social model. Second， I analyze its distinctive arguments， as contrasted with the medical model. Finally， I explore the critiques and recently revised ideas of the model. Some implications for special education within it are suggested.
