The moving experiences of people with visual impairments in cities are affected by the interaction between body, technological objects, social relations, spatial planning design, etc. From perspectives of environmental psychology, existing disability literature has been focused on the environmental barrier and regards people with visual impairments as victims of social and spatial structure. Based on in-depth interviews and observation, this research tried to identify and analyze the various characteristics of the body, strategies and agency of mobility, as well as body identity and resistance for people with visual disability. |
