本研究之主要目的在瞭解都會區小型學校整併的策略。本研究認為學校整併相當繁複,應打破「臺北觀點」,顧及「城鄉差距」而分別予以個殊性的考量;所以,本研究以臺北市「第一個」且「唯一」的學校整併案為個案進行研究,探討整併歷程中個案學校相關人員的觀點以及採取的因應策略。研究發現,個案學校掌握併校的契機讓學校脫胎換骨,進而獲得「臺北市優質學校—資源統整獎、校園營造獎」的殊榮;其中的關鍵為「時間」、「空間」、「溝通」及「資源」等四個因素。最後,根據研究結果提出結論與建議,期以具體可行的策略提供政策規劃及其他學校整併參考之用。
英文摘要
This study aimed to find out the consolidation strategies of urban small-size schools. According to the standpoints of this study, the consolidation between two schools was a very complicated process, it must eliminate the so-called 'Taipei's viewpoints,' and the differences between the urban and the countryside had to be taken into account. Therefore, this is the first and only research done by studying individual case of school consolidation in Taipei city; it has also explored the viewpoints of staff and faculty and the strategies they applied in school consolidation. This study has revealed that to seize the critical moment of time in consolidation helped the target school to cast off its old self and to win the further honors as Taipei Quality School with Best Campus Builder Award as well as Best Interconnection and Application of Resources Award. The key factors of success were timing, dimensions, communications and resources. Finally, this study has come up with some conclusions and suggestions based on the findings. Hopefully these concrete and practicable strategies will become useful references for planning policies and other school consolidations.
