專業化與普及化——族群影像教育的定位與思考

Professionalism or Localism: Rethinking the Orientation of Ethnic Communication Education

民族語言與傳播學系作為原住民族影像教育的實施單位，期許培育原住民族影像傳播人才，未來能積極致力於蒐集、整理、拍攝、紀錄原住民文化相關知識與活動，成立十年下來，這種專業化的族群傳播教育成果究竟如何？其背後又含藏著什麼樣的問題糾結與衝突？本文即嘗試以民族語言與傳播學系的傳播教育為例，回溯探討族群影像教育的相關問題，並藉以反省未來建構族群影像教育的重要性及努力方向。

As the first indigenous communication department of the onlycollege for indigenous studies in Taiwan, NDHU’s educationalmission has been specifically focused on the training of futuremedia practitioners who can devote themselves to preservingindigenous languages and culture. So what has been the result ofsuch educational practice after ten years of implementation? Havethere been conflicts behind the process of ethnic communicationeducation and the requirements of academic professionalism? As acase study, this research aims to retrospectively examine suchexperiences and tries to predict the new directions for futureindigenous communication education.
