The purpose of this study was to understand relationship among employees perceived supervisor support , employee self-enhancement and job involvement. Data for this study were obtained questionnaires from business employees, 237 valid surveys were returned and the hierarchical regression was used in testing the research hypotheses. Results of this study indicated that the influences of perceived supervisor support on employee self-enhancement were positive. Perceived supervisor support and job involvement demonstrated a significant and positive relationship. Job involvement was significantly positive related to employee self-enhancement. Job involvement mediated the positive relationship between perceived supervisor support and employee self-enhancement. According to the results of this study, theoretical and managerial implications and the future research directions were also discussed. |
