This reasearch presents a decision support system for periodic review perishable inventory management. It comprises an user friendly interface that alloes dscision makers to answer 'what if' question about ahanges in certain conditions and an exact mayhematical model that portrays the real perishable inventory situation including customer demand as the Poission probaility distribution,the non-zero order lead time, both the LIFO and FIFO issuing disciplines, and the fixed lifetime perishable inventory management such as food stuffs in supermarkets or blood bank in hospita, etc.
