Power Transfer of Bending Vibration in Building Structure

The power transfer of point and mnulti-point excitations in building structure can he calculated if the point and transfer accelerances or mobilities of the structure are known. The forces and velocities of the excitations, and in consequence the power transfer are calculated by measuring the accelerations or velocities at remote points from the sources Comparison between theoretically predicted and measured accelerances of a simple system is shown in this paper.
