Hopf Bifurcation in a Generalized Predator-Prey Model

A cubic system, which is a generalization of the predator-prey models, studied by many authors recently (see [1,2], for instance) is proposed. The properties of the equilibriumpoints, the Hopf bifurcation and the stability of the periodic solution, due to the bifurcation are investigated.
