The Development and Psychometric Study of Taiwan Depression Scale

本研究旨在根據全人醫治取向，以及精神科醫生的臨床經驗，編製一份適合國人使用的自陳式憂鬱症量表－「台灣憂鬱症量表」。其包含認知、情緒、身體與人際等四個向度共22題，採用李克特氏四點量表計分方式。樣本來自大台北地區的憂鬱症患者213人，以及200名大學生，並以「CES-D憂鬱量表」作為效標，使用結構方程式模型進行量表信效度分析。研究結果顯示，本自編量表具良好的信效度，與「CES-D 憂鬱量表」之效標關聯效度達.92；以四個向度分數作為預測因子進行區別分析，得到93.46%的正確分類率，ROC曲線下的面積也高達.99，表示本量表具有相當良好的區別力。此外，本研究參考ROC分析結果，設定決斷分數為27分，以提供社會大眾憂鬱症初步篩檢之用。

A Taiwanese Depression Scale (TDS) with four factors is newly developed based on the holistic approach to healing theory and empirical psychiatrists' diagnosis. These factors indicate cognitive， emotional， physical， and interpersonal. And 22 items in 4-point Likert-type format are included in this scale. The sample comprised 213 depression patients and 200 normal undergraduates. The results show that TDS is a reliable test with valid factor structures. Correlation between the TDS and CSE-D was .92. Besides， 93.46% of original grouped cases are correctly classified by discriminant analysis where the four subscale factors are used as predictors and the area under the ROC curve was .99. The ROC curves indicate a best effectiveness cut-off score of 27. TDS could be a useful instrument for evaluating depressive symptoms.
