科學本質的變對人類影響軌跡，猶如吳筱玫（2001）所說的，人們從一開始拒絕變革，再來接受變革，但以不破壞既有基礎為原則，郅最後全面否定現行的機制，一切重來，這其間往返豈是一個『亂』字可以形容。社會學不應該是個太過於批判性的學問。而是去觀察人類社會進行脈動，並且試圖在亂中尋找出牽動變遷之那根弦的面貌。本文期盼以變遷的角度再加以釐科學之本質；再者，透過以上的思考，以求更為敏銳地察覺科學如何牽動著社會變動。本文試圖從兩個角度來探索科學－－縱向面與橫向面。首先由縱向面而模向面進行考察，經過一番琢磨後推敲出其相對性關係，再篩選出其間的交橫面進行探討，並且參考近代後現代主義學者們對於科學進展狀況的見解，最後引導出人類面對科學時，應有認知與限制。

The track that emerges mankind influenced by the transformations of scientific essence is likeWu (2001) takes the view that people refuse to accept the transformations, accept the transformations but don’t destroy the initial principles, deny the current institution and refresh it finally. The only word to describe this is “chaos”. Sociology should not be a critical science. It has not only to observe the movement of society but also attempt to observe what triggers the social transformations. The paper aims to clarify scientific essence in terms of transformations. Furthermore, it would investigate how science triggers the social transformations. This paper aims to explore science from two viewpoints-vertical and horizontal. First, we inspect it from vertical to horizontal, and figure out the interaction. Second, we look closely at the interaction, and refer to what post-modernist think about in terms of the evolution of science. Finally, we will represent the cognition and limit that mankind has to understand when we face science.
